What I learned from working with George Lucas

Bob Dolman om seminariet

Bob Dolman håller ett seminarium om hur det var att arbeta med George Lucas,
nedan är hans egna ord om sina erfarenheter och vad han kommer att ta upp på seminariet.
---

Willow was my first screenplay. I'd been working in TV until then. I
had lots to learn, and I was amazed by how much George Lucas had tolucaswillow

teach me. The whole experience was amazing, and people often ask me
about it, so we've decided to have a Willow night at Cinemantrix.

I have many stories to share about working with Lucas and with Ron
Howard, including moments when I was terrified and thought I'd get
fired, and moments when I really got to write my heart out thanks to
the creative environment I was in. Sometimes that environment was
Skywalker Ranch! Writing that screenplay was a career highlight for
me, and a great life experience, and it's very cool that there are so
many Willow fans out there, after so many years. (Willow fans are
loyal and delightfully weird.)

Mostly I plan to talk about writing. That's where I benefited the
most. Really practical writing techniques that were learned in the
midst of developing and shooting a movie. This will be interesting to
those of you who are writing scripts or directing or acting or
whatever. It all connects, my friends. No aspect of filmmaking is
independent of everything else.

Hope to see you there - Bob DolmanBehind the Scenes Awesomeness Willow 5_zpsbdhm3sg0
